HD Faculty's Manufacturing Technical services include various activities, which include, but are not limited to: |

Identify and resolve product design barriers to nominal production efficiency and effectiveness levels; |
• |
Support our clients’ quality control (“QC”) and personnel in identifying root causes of non-conformance situations; |
• |
Complete work to ensure that set process and procedures are accurate and actionable for the production systems or processes; |
• |
Complete production scale and product testing to qualify current products on new (additional) conversion systems; |
• |
Complete process fingerprinting to identify loss points and variation sources; |
• |
Implement improved product designs to reduce variation in finished products, both site-to-site and within site; |
• |
Collaborate with purchasing, manufacturing, engineering and product and process development personnel to identify, qualify and implement conversion and composition cost improvements; |
• |
Participate on project teams as technical resource for production relocations, product variation reduction efforts and programs to improve manufacturing efficiency/effectiveness; |
• |
Complete assessments for proposed production relocations, quality improvement efforts and conversion cost improvements for current products; |
• |
Collaborate with product development team members to design and implement production scale plant trials on new development projects; |
• |
Complete analyses, testing and observation studies to objectively identify root causes of barriers to nominal manufacturing efficiency, effectiveness and quality levels; |
