Define, qualify and implement appropriate product design solutions to efficiency, effectiveness and product quality issues;

Develop and implement accurate and actionable technical specifications, including specs, loading, manufacturing procedures and in-process specifications;

Model conversion systems and identify opportunities for improvement in throughput, product consistency or yield;

Define, qualify and implement product designs to improve conversion or composition costs;

Define, qualify and implement product designs to improve product consistency, both site-to-site and within site;

Complete assessments for proposed production relocations, quality improvement efforts and conversion cost reductions;

Complete production testing to qualify production of current products on new, re-engineered or converted systems;

Collaborate with product development team members to design and implement production scale trials on new development projects;

Participate in weekly department meetings;

Improve technical and interpersonal skills through seminars/classes and additional training;

Model and provide training in basic total quality tools to QC, QA, Manufacturing and Engineering personnel and other members of the research and development team; and,

Support the technical service needs for all client production locations.
